Where does the time go?

Ok so i am trying to cut down on time on the computer so I can get more done at home. Well what I want to know is where do people find the time to get all this cool stuff done? I mean people are knitting socks, making aprons, sewing quilts and doing embroidery like crazy and I can't seem to finish what I started a year ago! Is this common or what! I think I could sit a whole day and just make stuff but of course I can't I have a 4 year old and a husband (he's not 4) so now I gotta go.
